We built this pad for rooms where you have space to step sideways. Four separate target zones light up across the face, which turns a plain rhythm drill into reaction practice. Your phone feeds your tracks over Bluetooth, the controls on the front set the pace, and the counter ticks up each time your strike lands.

• Four distinct targetsInstead of one flat face, the panel spreads four illuminated pads across the frame. Your eyes have to track the next light before your hands move, which keeps you shifting weight between strikes.
• Phone sync for rhythmYour phone connects over Bluetooth to play whatever playlist you choose through the speaker. The lights lead the tempo, so staying on rhythm becomes a game of keeping up with your own music.
• Controls on the frontAdjust the tempo and volume right on the face before starting a round. The speed steps up when you want faster drills, and you can slow the sequence down when learning a difficult track.
• Strips on the wallAdhesive hook and loop strips press directly against smooth drywall to hold the machine flat. You decide the height when you press the backing in place, leaving the floor clear beneath your feet.
