Audio link and hit score

How the phone link and punch counter work

You have a flat stretch of wall and a phone full of tracks you like to work to. Before pressing strips onto drywall, you want to know what that wireless link actually handles and what the readout on the housing is keeping track of.

What the wireless link handles

The panel pairs to your phone over Bluetooth so whatever track you put on plays right out of the machine speaker. That is the whole job of the wireless link. The controls on the front set the light pattern and the speed of the round. Nothing inside the housing listens to what comes out of the speaker. The machine holds to the speed pattern you chose on the controls while your phone provides the soundtrack for the room.

How the front readout tallies

Every strike that lands into the padded face registers on the front counter. The lit readout keeps the running total right before your eyes so you can see where your round stands without stopping to check a screen. Two of our punching pads use thickened material and an enhanced chip for responsiveness, and that is what runs the tally on those builds. You punch the lit targets, the number ticks up, and the count stays clear from start to finish.

Setting up your round on the wall

Pick your track on the phone, link to the panel speaker, and use the front controls to set the pace you want your hands to follow. If you want a layout where eyes work as hard as fists, the reaction training pad uses four separate target zones that light in turn. For two people working side by side on their own tracks and their own hit tallies, family sets pack two full machines into one carton to mount on the same wall.
